You can apply at any time and get a decision within days of submitting all required materials. The hybrid program has 3 terms per year while the online program has 6 shorter terms per year. You can start in any term.
Receive Credit for Police Academy
If you have graduated from the Police Academy, you can receive college credit which lowers your overall cost. Simply submit your academy curriculum for Prior Learning Experience (PLA) evaluation. The average award for Police Academy graduates is 15 credits.

Boston-Based Hybrid Criminal Justice Program Highlights
Examine the impact of crime on victims, offenders and the public. With our Boston-based hybrid criminal justice program, you’ll learn practical skills in the field and develop advanced communication, research and analytical skills applicable to a range of exciting careers.
The hybrid program includes a flexible combination of on-campus, online (asynchronous), and remote (Zoom) classes. On-campus and remote classes are held on nights and weekends so you can pursue your degree while working full-time. Online classes can be taken any time you wish each week.
Concentrations are available with the hybrid program. They can allow you to specialize and give you a hiring edge in your area of interest. They include juvenile justice studies, legal studies, addiction studies, network security, and more. With this program, you’ll explore various aspects of the justice system with courses such as Crime and Criminal Justice, Forensic Psychology, and Women and Crime.
Online Criminal Justice Program Highlights
Due to the dramatic change the field of criminal justice has undergone in recent years, our online criminal justice program equips you with the knowledge and skills needed to meet the exciting challenges of 21st-century policing. You'll research and discuss current controversies such as Black Lives Matter, Gun Control and Mass Incarceration.
You’ll learn the best practices of current day policing so you can effectively contribute to crime reduction while restoring public trust and safeguarding officer well-being. You'll also gain real-world experience and develop your professional network through your local field placement.
Courses are 100% online, allowing you to study anytime and anywhere. They include Crime Scene Investigation, Special Topics in Justice Issues, and Criminal Justice Capstone. Acceptance decisions are made on a rolling basis throughout the year.
